Priti Khanna joined Magner Law in 2019, where her primary fields of practice are family law, immigration and wills and estates law, with an emphasis complex custody, divorce, child support and family related immigration cases.
Priti decided to pursue a career in law in order to join a profession where she could directly and positively impact people and their lives. She brings a wealth of litigation experience to her cases and, although she works hard to achieve efficient and satisfactory settlements for her client’s outside the courtroom, she is an aggressive litigator and not afraid to fight for her clients. It was these qualities that led Magner Law to pursue Priti. Her approach compliments the firm’s “Divorce with Dignity” approach to family law.
Priti started her legal career by working as a law clerk to State Court Judges in Georgia where she gained insight into the inner workings of the legal system. She subsequently entered private practice where she gained extensive experience in family law, immigration and business law. While practicing in Georgia, Priti regularly represented and worked with victims of domestic violence in and outside the court.
After relocating to Virginia, Priti continued her practice in the field of family law and immigration. She also expanded her practice to wills and estates in order to provide a one stop shop for families to preserve their present and plan for their future.
Despite her busy work schedule, Priti finds time to volunteer with various non-profit organizations including her own non-profit organization which helps single mothers. Aside from law, Priti’s passions consist of running, books, art and travel. She resides in Potomac Falls, Virginia with her husband and daughter and is actively involved in her community.
